Lesson 1
I will teach the importance of the different chess pieces.
The Pawns
- The pawn is an important chess piece during the beginning of the game but the longer the chess game continues this chess piece become less important. This piece can only be moved one square forward but can be moved two squares forward at the beginning of a game. This piece can attack a chess piece only if the piece being attacked is one square diagonally in front of the pawn. Worth 1 point in value.
The Knights
- This chess piece (looks like a horse) is an important key in playing offense without this chess piece you'd be better off playing defense. This piece can only be moved in a letter L form. Worth 3 points in value.
The Bishops
- The bishop can be moved diagonally in any distance this is one of my favorite pieces I use this piece to mate an opponents king. Worth 3 points in value.
